Personal Quotes

I don't think that they were cheering me over her. It was half-and-half, like they're gonna always love her and she's the ultimate good-guy. And, you know for me to come out there as the bad-guy, but at the same time I entertain them and, you know, made them laugh, even when they wanted to hate me I still made them laugh. [...] Two different worlds and two different styles, so it's just like which kind of ice-cream you like better. (About Wrestlemania 22, when the fans where cheering for her, even though she was the one, they were supposed to hate)

Just to be able to go out there [ring] in front of all the fans, is very overwhelming[...] And to go out and perform in front of all the people is just really amazing and it's just a dream come true. [about being a wrestler in the WWE]

I wouldn't want anybody to try to be like me, I want them to make their own mark... like, I don't want to be the next Trish Stratus. I wanna be the first Mickie James. Because there is only one of me, otherwise then I'm just cookie cutter of someone else, right? So I think it's imperative that you make your own mark in life and whatever you do. [On if she considers herself a leader]

I would love to get into acting. Wrestling is my passion, I love it and I've worked so hard to get where I'm at, and I would never give it up. Not that easy anyway. I'd fight for it. So I guess I always wanna be a part of wrestling. It's in my blood. I love it. And once it's get in your blood, it's hard to walk away. [When asked if she would like to get involved in things other than wrestling]

It is a big family. It is, because in reality we're on the road 300 day out of the year so we see each other more than we see our families sometimes. So it is like a family, these are like my brothers and sisters so it'd be hard to walk away from that, you know?

Sometimes, you know, if people have connections, like in any type of thing, I guess it kinda works out to their benefit, because then you're on the road together anyway so it works in your benefit, but yeah. I'm not opposed to it, I think it's... I mean if people get along, if that's what they wanna do, that's their personal life and that's completely up to them. And I will wish them nothing but the best. [On boy/girl relationships in the WWE]

Maria. Maria's my best friend, yes. But she just got moved to Smackdown, via the draft... I would love to visit Smackdown. I love Raw! I've been on Raw, started on Raw. The Women's Championship is on Raw. I like Smackdown too. I've been over there. I have a blast. I'd be happy wherever they put me, obviously, but I'm pretty content on Raw just now.

Wow! Um, that's a tough decision, that is, that's really tough. You know, somebody would have to... I would want them to like me for me. Outside of 'Mickie James' that they see on TV. I would want them to like and respect me for me. The girl that's, you know, the girl next door, the girl that likes to go ride her horses on the weekends. So I'd want them to respect that, I'd want them to be honest and loyal. And, you gotta be able to trust, you know. I'd want them to have some of the same passions that I do, like, or at least respect them. [What a man would have to be like for her]

I think the reason people end up dating within the industry, is probably because, no-one understands your passion or this business like someone who's already in it. Because their passion is just as strong as yours. In reality a lot of people don't understand, like when I explain what I do and I travel all the time, and not many people can deal with that. You're only home 2 days out of the week and sometimes I'm not even home then, because you know, we go on tour such as this and we're gone for 2 or 3 weeks at a time and it's hard for people to deal with that. And it's also hard to get to know someone on a level where they don't look at you differently because you are on TV, whereas in the industry, people tend to understand because they are in the same bubble right?
