There are few guys in the WWE or the world of professional wrestling that can carry a feud without needing a belt to keep it relevant and exciting. Chris Jericho and Randy Orton are most certainly on that short list. Both of these WWE Superstars have the charisma and talent to make fans care without having any actual stakes on the line. When you put the two of them against one another, it is like the perfect explosion of talent. As a huge WWE fan, I am excited that it looks like Jericho vs. Orton is on the way yet again.

LOS ANGELES – The WWE Universe was stunned to see Edge walk into the sold-out STAPLES Center to be in Christian’s corner for his World Heavyweight Championship match against Randy Orton.(PHOTOS)

But after the 11-time World Champion received a standing ovation from the more than 17,000 in attendance, the bigger surprise was when Edge berated his lifelong friend for how he won the World Title – through whining for rematches, hiding behind lawyers and eventually capturing the title by disqualification. Although proclaiming to be Christian’s friend until the day he dies, he walked out him, forcing him to fend for himself.

What ensued was a brutal No Holds Barred Match involving kendo sticks, steel ring steps, steel chairs, TV monitors, tables and metal garbage cans. After both Superstars inflicted pain and suffering on each other with all of the weapons at their disposal, it was a blistering RKO from Orton to Christian directly onto a set steel ring steps that ended the battle.

The victory was the culmination of an emotional war that has gone on for months between the two.

At Extreme Rules 2011, Christian captured the first World Championship in his 17-year career (PHOTOS), but then lost it to Randy Orton just five days later. After that heart-breaking night, he mounted a relentless quest to regain the title. At WWE Capitol Punishment (PHOTOS) and Over the Limit (PHOTOS), Christian failed to dethrone Orton. It wasn’t until Money in the Bank that Christian finally wrested the title from The Viper (PHOTOS).

I don't know why Kane had to be the guy to get smacked by a chair couldn't they have gotten someone younger, Wade Barret maybe.

I do wonder why Kane didn't attack Christian as well I can only dread that this will lead to another heel turn which I'm sick of Big Show and Kane have turned at least 6 times each during the last 3 years alone both are still over and while Kane get heat he always starts off with cheers and Show well I don't know what the deal is with him but thats for another thread.

Kane saying he is feeling less and less like a monster makes wonder is he dropping the Kane character and becoming more realistic becoming Glen Jacobs and losing the Kane alter ego.

Blandy better take a pin or I'm taking my collectable chair that I get as part of the wrestlemania package and smacking him with it at Wrestlemania Big smile

I'm hoping this storyline doesn't take too long either as Kane can be used to help get Wade Barret and Justin Gabriel over as heels.

This week on WWE Smackdown will be a street fight between Randy Orton and Kane - a rematch of last week. On last week's WWe Smackdown the match between Kane and Randy Orton was interrupted by Christain. Kane went on to win the match via a countout. What happened after the match was more interesting as Randy Orton attacked Kane with a steel chair brought into the ring by Christain.

This week's WWE Smackdown will mark the first day of Christain's second reign as World Heavyweight Champion. Follow-ups of the Mark Henry Vs Big Show match at Money In The Bank and Daniel Bryan's Money In The Bank victory will also make WWE Smackdown's storylines.

WWE Smackdown is also likely to have a dark match street fight between Randy Orton and Christain for the World Heavyweight Championship.
